Just two friends who decided that there was a lot to be said about anatomy in Shakespeare and that they shouldn't just say it to themselves. Caroline, from her happy place of mortuary archeology, found a neglected area of the macabre in Shakespeare and invited Mary, from her happy place of English literature, to join in the delightful and grisly fun. Their research has inspired them to publish a book, Anatomical Shakespeare: An Illustrated Guide to Shakespeare's 'Mere Anatomy', and they hope that it will be available in bookstores in the upcoming year.
